About Dr. Suresh Cuganesan

Dr Suresh Cuganesan is at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management where he is also the Director for its Centre for the Management of Knowledge Capital. Suresh Cuganesan has worked in the areas of accounting and finance, occupying positions at Price Waterhouse and Westpac Institutional Bank.

He occupies a position on CPA Australia’s Business Management Centre of Excellence, and is a member of the Asian Board of the American Academy of Financial Management. More recently, Suresh has been working with the Australian Government in the area of developing guidelines for the management, measurement and reporting of intellectual capital.

Suresh has published in leading national and international journals and conferences and co-authored three books. Selections of his work include the book titled “Australian Financial Markets Review 1998: Towards a Regional Financial Centre”, a number of cost, revenue and risk benchmarking studies in the area of over-the-counter financial markets, and examinations of financial risk management in deregulated electricity industries.
